To mark our 30th Anniversary this year, we did something that Twanna had wanted to do for a long time. We packed up as a team and travelled to Southern India. It wasn't just a celebration, it was a chance to walk the path our products travel long before they ever reach us here in the UK.
Slowing Down in Kerala
Every good journey needs a moment to breathe, and ours began with exactly that. We spent our first three days in the backwaters of Kerala, easing into the trip with sightseeing and breathwork against a backdrop of stillness. It was the perfect way to arrive - not just physically, but mentally. For a team about to dive into the heart of our production process, this gentle acclimatisation set exactly the right tone: present, grounded, and open to whatever came next.

More Than a Trip
What made this journey so memorable wasn't just the destinations - it was everything woven in between. There were celebrations shared with our partners in India, marking not only our anniversary but the relationships built over years of collaboration.
For several members of the team, this was their first time in India, which made the experience even more special. Seeing familiar faces light up at their first taste of a dosa, or standing quietly absorbing the scale and craftsmanship of seeing our products being made for the very first time added a whole new dimension to the trip. Shared experiences like these have a way of bringing a team closer together, and this was no exception.
Looking Back, and Ahead
Thirty years is a long time to build something - long enough to lose sight, occasionally, of just how many people and hands are involved in bringing a single product to life. This trip was a powerful reminder of exactly that. It reconnected us with our roots, deepened our appreciation for our partners, and gave our whole team new stories, new friendships, and a renewed sense of purpose as we look ahead to the next thirty years.
