Rest as Resilience with Rachel Skipper

This month of restorative yoga practice will explore how the stress response relates to the immune system. We perhaps all experience times of sustained stress, and while short periods of stress can initially boost immune function, long-term it has a detrimental impact. Putting practices in place to return to balance and regulate our nervous system ultimately encourage inner resilience through bolstered immunity, as well as helping us weather the periods of stress in our lives by helping us to return to our centre. As the year winds down, join Rachel every week for an opportunity to rest and build resilience ahead of the winter months.
