In order to achieve softness to the touch, Yogamatters blankets go through a brushing stage. This lifts the fibres creating softness and without this stage, the blankets are very coarse. As a result of the brushing, the blankets shed fibres of cotton. These fibres show on dark coloured clothing and cushions. Machine washing can reduce shedding, but not necessarily stop it altogether. Unfortunately, Yogamatters cannot accept returns of used blankets on the basis of shedding.

Thie Organic Cotton Yoga blanket is machine washable at 30°. Please wash dark colours separately. Allow lots of time to air dry with the blanket completely unfolded. If you have to spin dry it, use a slow setting -
Can this be used as a hot yoga towel on top of a mat?
