Embody Rest: Savasana for Everyone

In support of Crisis

Wednesday 18th December 7:00-8:15pm

Glide into the holiday season through a peaceful and rejuvenating Restorative experience that embodies rest led by expert Anna Ashby.

This carefully curated online practice will guide you into ‘the relaxation response’ through an accumulative process of release. Slow stretches, conscious breath combined with variations of Savasana, the quintessential Restorative posture, alleviate stress and support wellbeing through rest, stillness and space.

This online workshop sponsors the charity Crisis - should you choose to donate, your generosity will support homeless people during the holidays.

BOOK

Anna Ashby's Book

Restorative Yoga

Arranged into three sections, the book is designed to help readers understand the history, purpose and characteristics of the practice; its feel and expression with an emphasis on breath, process and introspection; and how to structure a successful practice.

Each section ends with self-enquiry and breath exploration so teachers can practically apply the knowledge shared in each chapter and build a framework for a successful teaching practice. Helping the reader to understand their own patterns of behaviour and cultural imprints, which may interfere with the ability to downshift the nervous system and ultimately relax, Restorative Yoga supplies all the necessary preparations to successfully teach this style of yoga.
