Tell us a bit about yourself…
I work in Integrative Health - bringing nutrition, therapeutic movement and nervous system regulation, supporting clients to rebalance, recover, achieve, maintain long-term resilience and wellness.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I like to wake up comfortably early, starting by 'warming up/waking up' the body with a few warm ups - this is very much based on the Qi Gong practice - and having a nutritious breakfast is a must! Then the day unfolds into teaching classes, both private and in studios. I love a long walk in nature as often as possible.
How did your yoga journey begin and what inspired you to become a yoga teacher?
I've been practicing yoga for over 25 years, although I never thought of becoming a yoga teacher. I have a background in the music industry, photography, and food business.
oooops! I'm also a former pastry chef! Don't forget, I'm a Nutritional therapist. But life had other plans and for the last 18 years I have delved into various practices and studies that became the core of my work.
What inspired you to specialise in your practice?
Having navigated significant body issues myself, I understand how vulnerable, and courageous, it can feel to seek support. This lived experience allowed me to work with depth, sensitivity, and compassion, slowly helping myself to reconnect with my inner strength, build resilience, and move forward with greater ease and confidence.
How have you seen your practice benefit your students?
Having the opportunity of witnessing the work helping and improving somebody's life quality, physically and mentally is priceless. It's very important to mention that to observe and experience the work result is a 'team' work. The commitment from the student's side to the process and practices is key and valuable.
