Which side of the Rise Yoga Mat should I practice on?
The cotton mesh side is the top of the mat and the side you should practice on. When laid out correctly, the Yogamatters label should be in the top left corner. The rubber side is the underside of the mat and is not designed for practising on. -
My Rise Yoga Mat has developed white marks. Is it faulty?
No, this is a natural characteristic of natural rubber and is known as blooming. You may notice light or white marks appearing on the surface, particularly with pressure and friction during use. This is caused by natural compounds within the rubber coming to the surface and is completely normal. Blooming does not affect the mat’s performance, grip or durability and is simply part of the natural behaviour of the rubber. -
My Rise Yoga Mat has a strong rubber smell. Is this normal?
Yes, a natural rubber smell is completely normal when your mat is new. The Eco Flow Yoga Mat is made from natural rubber, which can have a distinctive scent when first opened. The smell will naturally fade over time with regular use and airing. This is a normal characteristic of natural rubber.
