The earth-friendly Eco Cork Yoga Mat is made from cork of Oak trees and natural rubber from sustainable rubber farms. At 4mm thick, the Eco Cork mat offers a smooth practice surface with excellent cushioning and comfort.
Cork bark is naturally anti-bacterial, eradicating germs and bacteria that cause bad odours, so you can breathe easy knowing that your cork yoga mat isn’t home to any nasties. The grip improves as you get into your practice and start to sweat, you can speed this up by spraying the mat with water before starting your practice.

How can I improve the grip of my Eco Cork yoga mat?
The grip of the Eco Cork yoga mat improves the more you sweat. If you want that extra grippiness with your practice, we recommend spritzing the mat with water to speed this up. -
My Eco Cork yoga mat has a strong smell is this normal?
The natural rubber part will initially have a strong smell, however this will fade over time. We recommend cleaning your Eco Cork yoga mat quite often in those first few weeks, spray it with a Yogamatters Mat Cleaner and wipe down with a damp cloth. It will also help to leave your at unrolled for long periods of time in a well ventilated area if possible. -
Can the Eco Cork yoga mat be used for hot yoga?
Yes, it can! The grip of the Eco Cork yoga mat improves the more you sweat. If you want that extra grippiness with your practice, we recommend spritzing the mat with water to speed this up. If needed, you can also purchase a Yoga Mat Towel to help reduce excess sweat.
