Product Description
The newest addition to the eko collection of biodegradable natural rubber mats, the eko superlite provides superior grip on carpet or hard surfaces, yet weighs only about 0.9kg, and folds to fit easily in your bag, suitcase or (in the case of our Marketing Manager, Sally) bike basket.
Dual layer technology for optimal combination of grip, durability & slip-resistance.
Grip & durability (top layer): "Orange Peel" surface texture is naturally grippy, closed cell keeps out moisture (sweat) from seeping into the mat and breeding bacteria for better durability.
Due to the properties of the mat, it is recommended to not use this mat in direct sunlight, or to leave the mat out in the sun.
Stretch-resistant scrim (center): Made from biodegradable cotton and recycled polyester blend; binds top/bottom layer together with heating process, eliminating need for toxic glues.
Natural & biodegradable: Made from biodegradable, non-amazon harvested tree rubber with non-toxic foaming agents and non-azo dyes. This natural, biodegradable material won?t flake or fade. The eko superlite will leave no footprint in landfills, and is perfect for people who want to make a commitment to our planet and take their yoga practice on the road.
Please note: initially the eKO mat may produce a natural rubber scent. To help this fade faster, air out the mat by placing it outside in a shaded area.
