Product Description

Sage Amethyst is worn as a reminder of peace and tranquillity. The purple stone can be turned to as a physical manifestation of strengthening one's spiritual power. Tibetans consider amethyst sacred to the Buddha, and use the stone to make prayer beads.

It's tradition for a Mala to have 108 beads, plus one guru bead. 108 is an auspicious number for many reasons. Some believe there are 108 stages on the journey of the human soul, while others connect the number to astronomy, energy lines in the body, and the Sanskrit alphabet.

Rudraksha seeds grow inside what look like blueberries on trees in South East Asia. In Buddhism and Hinduism, the beads are believed to provide inner calm, peace, and free one from negative thought. The beads get darker over time as they absorb your oils and energy. This is thought to strengthen the rudraksha.
