In order to achieve the sumptuous softness, our blankets go through a brushing process. This lifts the fibres creating the softness and without this stage the blankets would be very course. As a result of the brushing process, the blankets shed cotton fibres. These fibres show on dark coloured clothing and cushions. Machine washing can reduce shedding.
