Easy to assemble, great to use!

I bought the Feetup Headstand Yoga Stool for my partner as his yoga practice is superb with the exception of his headstands, which he is nervous to do. Since having this Christmas present, he has assembled it and used it all the time. He still needs a bit of help to give him confidence, but I don't think it will be long before he gets up there with no assistance at all, and with perfect precision! What a brilliant invention.

Must have yoga assistant

I really love it. I use it most days - it is great for sirsasana variations, setubandha, forward bends and more. I think it is a must have yoga assistant.

the world upside down!

normally i use props not very often for the practice. but: i really recommend this yoga prop. as a long time practitioner with neck problems, this gave me the fantastic opportunity to keep on doing headstand! and as a yoga teacher it helped many of my students to overcome the fear of being upside down in a safe and easy way. and often it opened the path do a free headstand after the strength and trust came to the body and mind. this is definitely a must have for every yoga student/teacher. om shanti from germany

Head down, feet up

I love the Feetup, I loose so much tension in my neck when I'm practicing with it. My children love it (not only as a toy) and a lot of my students appreciate not having any weight on their cervical spine. For some this is the only way to do the headstand, because it is absolutely safe. Thank you FEETUP!

that thing is a revolution!!

I bought the Feetup stool the other day and I'm already addicted to it! ...what a fantastic product...

New best friend

At first I was just intrigued by the idea of being able to practice headstand without any pressure on my cervical spine. It turns out that the FeetUp is so much more! My Feetup inversions have become an unmissable part of my morning practice. There is so much room for creativity and modifications. Depending on the challenges on a specific day, the options range from dynamic to restorative. It is a great way to gain new insights upside down :-)

Give it a go!

Personally I'm a headstand lover and I teach and practise it without props and wall. Knowing how long it takes until this is possible, I think Feetup is a great tool to introduce the joys and benefits of being upside down to anyone. Definitely worth a try and good fun also for more advanced practitioners.

Product Quality & assembly

I had purchased the feetup product at the recent Yoga Show. I have found it to be of a high quality spec plus the assembly instructions clear and easy to follow.

Turn your world upside-down!

The FeetUp is a very fun and safe way to turn the world-upside down and to experience a new perspective in the body. It allows people to enjoy all the benefits of an inversion without any pressure on the head or neck. It´s an amazing toy for yogis and AcroYogis of all ages to get comfortably used to be and move heart over head! I love it!

What i have learned is that it is essential to support the action of the back in headstand. So with the feetup I now use foam blocks to fill the space between my back and a wall, so that I am in effect close to the wall. Otherwise there is the likelihood of the shoulders slumping and the chest becoming hollow and collapsed.I am not sure the design is as good as using two chairs to support headstand because with the use of chairs to support the shoulders the student can be right against the wall and gain the support of the wall. However I am glad an attempt has been made to produce a prop..perhaps a prototype which needs further research...has been made to create a useful product.

Upside down with Feet Up

I used this in a teacher training session and it was a huge success. In fact, you may well get a few orders following on from the session! It allowed those with neck problems and those with short upperarms/long necks to practice safely so no weight was on their heads. It gave those who were new to headstand the courage to go upside down, feeling safe and secure. It is sturdily built and solid. I'd highly recommend it.Thank you, Yogamatters, for stocking this great product.

Feetup Headstand yoga stool

I am so pleased with my purchase. It gives you all the benefits of a headstand without any pressure on your head, neck or spine. Perfect for the older yoga students who may have osteoporosis. My students love using it and I may have to buy more.

I love using this product - it's portable and easy to store. The design provides stability and fantastic freedom for those delicate cervical joints. I can wait to take into class.

Not quite straightforward

I bought this out of curiousity and have used it every day to rediscover my headstand which had lapsed from my practice. It is not straightforward to get into headstand using it - but is easier than upsupported. I also found the video misleading as it shows it being used in the centre of the room and the instructions say to use it against a wall. I would be very anxious about overbalancing if not against the wall as cannot roll out of this. Overall though a good practice which I intend to use with my class.

Fantastic Feetup

Excellent product. You feel very secure and there is no tension at all in the neck. My students have loved trying it. Most would never attempt a headstand and now they can get all the benefits of a headstand without the fear!

great product

great way to get an invigorating inversion. very easy to use and very comfortable. only downside - a bit pricey

Feet up

Loving it!

fun and joy

I deliberated on the feet up stool for ages but I am so glad I went for it. I know the benefits of headstands but have always felt very fearful of doing them. The feetup solved that within 3 days. It's exhilarating to be upside down, and the stool is priceless for that. I found the design sturdy and strong- with an emphasis on comfort. It's not a small bit of kit, but then it does have a big job. I look forward to developing my practice to doing the next stage up. Highly recommended.

feet up headstand yoga stool

its a great tool and loving it! and like the addition of rubber feet

Brilliant idea!

Hi, I bought feet up from yogamatters when they first started selling them. I'm 57 yrs old & have chronic neck injury from a car accident 4 years ago! I practice yoga daily and always wanted to perform headstand but wasn't able to until I bought feet up stool. Now I use feet up stool almost everyday! Thank you feet up! I think you need to promote it in gyms round the country & for yogis who have neck injuries like whiplash! The only negativity was that it lacked a video to show different asanas you can perform besides headstand! But I believe from yoga show I attended that a video is going to be released! Looking forward to that. Lastly I was impressed by the cover for the stool.

favourite stool

I love this stool. Easy to assemble and so well thought out. Always worry I am crushing my neck a little in headstand, but with this stool all the benefits of inversion pus the weight of your head actually tractions your neck and gives it a lovely stretch

This product is amazing I was using a friends for a while but then decided to invest myself. I highly recommend this amazing product!:)

Feet up

We love it.. It is a great aid for the teenagers that I teach to he Mother get into headstand and feel confidence. I would like to know though... From someone medical I guess... Why we all feel such a bad head rush in this position compared to normal headstand ... No one can stay up there for longer than 20 seconds ... Would love an explantation... Thanks

Lots of fun!

Very easy to put together, photographic images to demonstrate poses that can be achieved. A great was to be upside down without pressure on neck and it you have not yet managed to achieve hand or forearm stand within your practise.

great bit of kit!

I received this as a gift, and it has been of great benefit to me as I suffer with neck/shoulder problems. It's very comfortable even after 5+ minutes in position, and I don't get any crunchiness in my neck afterwards. Bliss!

feet up

Absolutely brilliant transformed my yoga practice as I have had a problem with my neck and have not been able to do headstands .Now getting back to including in my practice and I do them more often.

Piece of art

It is a beautiful piece of yoga art. With my neck problems I could finally go back to my upside-down exercises and I enjoy every moment of it. Thank you to the guys who have developed and made it to live.

Easy to use, very stable. Using daily! Especially when stronger inversions feel too much of an effort. For those complaining about wall being too far - bend your knees! Bend your knees to 90 degrees, place feet flat on wall, and you will get your torso straight without backbending. Once you have built up strong and stable enough muscles you can use it without wall too.

Great yoga kit for yoga teachers and students

I purchased this following a student recommendation. It is easy to assemble and looks great too. Very easy to use, suitable for kids, mine are 8 and 10 and heavy grown men! Very comfortable inversions. A must. Lovely user guide too. Well worh the money.

feet up

really good little tool for helping those afraid of headstand to get some of the benefits - kids love it especially!

Feetup headstand yoga stool

Love my new purchase. Makes head stands so much easier and can be used for so many other asanas.

Feet up headstand yoga stool

I've only had this a short time, having mulled over for years whether to buy one. The instructions for putting it together are so easy even I managed it. Essentially still learning how to get the best out of it but really enjoying renewing my headstand practice, which I thought I'd lost for ever due to advancing age. Looking forward to working more with it, as in the excellent video online instructions.
