Stretch, Move and Relax Together is an exciting new approach to playful yoga for mobile babies, toddlers and pre-school children.

This latest DVD shows Melanie Hamilton Davies, (Educationalist, Birthlight Tutor and course creator), working with a class of mothers and toddlers. This dvd includes interviews from mothers, explaining how they feel their child benefits from the practice.

The simple sequences are easy to follow and give a real flavour of the SMART approach to sharing yoga practice with children, as they move from babyhood towards independence. The songs, rhymes and movements combine to enrich the child’s language and listening skills, alongside their motor and cognitive development. The mutual respect and sharing promoted through SMART aids social learning and helps build and maintain loving, healthy communication between infants and the adults who care for them. Lively activity is balanced by and breath awareness and calming relaxation.
