Reflection Portland Convention 2010: Iyengar Yoga Therapy

Reflection was the first-ever Iyengar Yoga Convention dedicated to therapeutics. On these DVDs, Geeta S. Iyengar presents the theories and principles of therapeutics in each category of asanas - supine, prone, seated, standing, and backbending - as well as Pranayama. Geeta emphasized that these sessions were only the beginning of our exploration of yoga therapeutics. Participants were urged to study the DVDs, to work with other Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers to familiarize themselves with the teachings, and to absorb the information gradually over a period of years.
