These pliable belts are lightweight but sturdy, with a strong metal buckle that allows you to adjust the length.

Thinner than the wide belts, but wider than the classic Iyengar belts, the D-rings come in a rainbow of colours and are one of our best selling props.

Widely used in Iyengar yoga classes, belts help in poses such as paschimottanasana and gomukhasana to extend and lengthen reach.

I bought the purple belt and while it's fine I thought it would be a bit thicker. It should work just fine however.

these belts are very good as thay do not slip when you use them. Also they are long and can be used for most yoga postures where you need the assistance of a strap. They are a very good value for money purchase as well.

This is a great yoga belt. I ordered 2 of them (in neutral) for myself and my husband and they are superior to what we had been using. They are also a great length and he is 6'4 and I am 5'9 tall and they work out great. They are exactly what we wanted and are very happy with YogaMatters quick delivery.

We have found the D-ring belts to be very popular for most uses. However if you are choosing a belt for use in an Iyengar yoga class, we would tend to agree with Jenny, that the Classic yoga belt or the Wide yoga belt, both with the sliding bar buckle would be a more suitable choice.

Well priced good every day belt for use in most circumstances. However, sometimes buckle comes undone which is difficult to understand so if you need a firm buckle choose the heavier weight belt which has a better buckle, but be aware the other is much heavier so for Gomokasana arms it's a bit too clunky so you might need both.
