This classic cotton belt, with its sliding bar metal buckle, originates in Pune and is a favourite in Iyengar institutes.

What makes these belts so well loved is the double thickness cotton and the extra strong metal buckle. These are the thinnest and narrowest belts we sell, but they still feel soft for a comfortable grip.

Belts are regularly used in poses such as paschimottanasana and gomukhasana to extend and lengthen reach.

Good basic belt that is robust and durable. The type of buckle on this belt is ideal for yoga practice, and far superior to the fastenings found on those belts not designed specifically for yoga.

I recently bought the classic yoga belt, and although it could be a little bit wider I think it is very nice and has a lovely soft feel to it despite being quite strong, Of course it'll remain to be seen how sturdy it is as I only bought it a short while ago.

Thought this belt looks rather thin and plain, the material is very strong and in fact it may have much better pull while performing asana. It is excellent value and good quality.

It does exactly what it says on the tin!! It's plain & simple but fully functional with a good secure buckle. A basic must have for any practice.
