This yoga bag looks lovely, but unfortunately the metal connections on the top of the strap dig into your shoulder so you have to position it at a bit of an angle and hold the bottom handle when carrying to make sure that it doesn't slip onto the metal and therefore keep it as comfortable as possible. This position doesn't feel very natural though. My mum bought me this from yoga matters for Christmas, but the newer Manduka mat tote (which wasn't available then unfortunately) would be much better - no metal to dig in and also a longer length so getting the mat in is also supposed to be easier (it does of course fit in the matsak, but can require a bit of a shove to get in).

I wrote the above review when I first got this bag. While I still have the same issue with the metal parts of the strap, I have found ways around this and now actually find the position - where I have to hold onto the end hand-strap while wearing the bag - really comfortable. I'd still go for the Manduka tote if given the choice, but this is much better than I initially found it - just took a while to get used to it.
