As someone who doesn't own a car therefore has to walk or cycle to yoga, I'd been looking for a rucksack style bag for years and am so pleased there's one finally on the market! It doesn't disappoint, it's big enough to fit my mat, blanket and a few blocks (at last!), it also has a net pocket on the front - great for my water bottle and a natty little purse attached inside for valuables. There's a flap on the top to keep the contents dry under the drawstring tie and it's waterproof, so perfect when I'm trudging to yoga in the rain! I'd like it to come in a few more colours as the only one available was khaki at the time (I'd have liked the purple) but in practical terms I cannot fault it :)

I love this bag. I bought it primarily for a 3-day yoga event I attend each year which involves lots of walking from workshop to workshop. This is a bag large enough to carry your mat, blanket, belt, etc. (and more if you want more) as well as containing a removal purse. There are also pockets on the outside which allow you allow easy access to small items. The key ring is a useful addition. All this and it is comfortable to walk with. .

I really wanted a yoga mat bag that was a rucksack style as I have to walk a couple of miles to a particular class each week, so thought this would be better than carrying a shoulder strap bag. Unfortunately this bag wasn't great for me and I'm actually about to return it. I found that with my mat in there it felt too low down, and the straps, which are unpadded, left red marks on my shoulders after just trying it out around home. My manduka mat sack, which I had a few issues with initially (see my review), is much more comfortable for my large and heavy yoga mat. I do like the fact that it is waterproof though.

I had been waiting for a rucksack type mat bag for a long time,as I cycle to class, and was happy to find one with Yogamatters. It is more or less what I was looking for, but I as I only carry a mat in it, I would have preferred the option of a smaller size. The straps are rather basic, but still easier to carry on the bike than conventional mat bags.

I was looking for a bag I could use to take my yoga kit on the bike and this bag is great! Lots of room for mat and kit, etc. Yes, it is quite basic but does the job really well. Highly recommended!
