The standard mat bag is a good size bag for those trying yoga but dont want all the equipment . It even has a pocket inside so i can put t my mobile inside it

Seems to me, this bag will only hold the tiniest of mats. The inner pouch also gets in the way because the bag is so small. The stitching on the pouch is now falling apart from being tugged around everytime I take out (or put in) my mat. The fabric is sturdy and the shoulder strap are great, but this doesn't help when my standard mat doesn't fit. A side zipper would help, but the only way to get my mat out of this bag is to peel it off, I'm afraid.

This yoga bag is very poorly designed. The opening is at the end of the bag which means you have to feed the mat into it. My mat is slightly textured and catches on the cotton fibres as you try to feed it in, it also starts to unroll the mat. I have resorted to putting my mat inside the plastic bad it was delivered in before trying to put it in the bag. I have tried it with my non textured mat and it is just as difficult. It needs to be fitted with a zip on the long side of the bag to make it work efficiently. The material itself is good quality just badly desigend!
