12 Stories for Yoga Teachers

The beauty of a story is that it can operate on many different levels - and often, like a benevolent time bomb, a story can suddenly reveal itself in a new way at an unexpected time. In these 12 stories, the Funky Guru recounts a number of tales from around the world which have inspired our thinking, practice and teaching of yoga. These are mainly traditional Indian stories - like the tale of Virabhadra the Warrior, the story of Ganesa and the rat, and Visnu's greatest disciple; but also included are tales from Japan, from Native America and other less well known folk tales from India.
