Described by leading yoga teachers as one of the best constructed and environmentally sound sticky mats ever made, this prAna Revolution natural sticky mat boasts a 30" width for wider freedom of movement, expression and alignment.

The mat's unique dimensions and dual-scrim construction provide an incredibly stable, firm and comfortable practice surface, ensuring you avoid any slipping, sliding or bunching underfoot. If you're not sure what 'scrim construction' means, a scrim is a mesh material, usually made of cotton, that gives the mat it's structural integrity. Most quality yoga mats have a single scrim sandwiched between the top and bottom layer of a yoga mat, whereas this mat has 2 scrim layers between 3 mat layers - for double the stability.

The mat is made from natural, biodegradable rubber (which naturally provides excellent grip), doesn't use any toxic glues, the mat is heat-laminated for added durability.

I have bought and discarded many mats over the years and have been searching for a thicker mat to protect my knees all year. The prAna revolution mat is fantastic - the only mat I haven't had to break in for a month, perfect from the very first dog pose. Its extra width means no more repositioning of my foundation between some poses, especially arm balances. It does not slip and isn't at all spongy, so gives a very grounded practice. Totally love it! Knew it would be good as John Friend designed it.

I'm blown away, i bought this mat after quite a negative experience with another mat and being wonderfully helped by Yogamatters Peeps to solve that hassle. This is like practicing on a sticky rubber runway.. I'm 6'3 and lanky (all my height is in my legs) which makes for a bad fit on a standard sized mat... plus it makes for leverage issues and grip problems in certain poses.. This mat has alleviated all the grip problems.. Now its just up to me to sort out my practice.. plenty of space to jump and not fly off the mat, space to roll from posture to posture, but not so much as to make u lazy wither.. very cool.. for me its great.. I can't see its going to wear badly either, i've used mine everyday since i got it 8 weeks ago and not even a sign of wear and tear yet... great mat.. good sale, great service... thank you :)

I have had many Yoga mats over the last few years, but this one is the best. Despite being thicker, it is not spongy at all and the extra width is just perfect. Also, the surface gives total grounding and stabilty in all poses. The only minor problem is the weight. It is quite heavy, thus not really easy to carry around, Also, due its oversize, it does not fit into the regular mat bag. However, this is entirely outweighed by all its other positive qualities.

Let me first say I don't normally write reviews but I felt compelled to write a review for this yoga mat. Now you've probably read the other reviews saying how great this yoga mat is, well I'm afraid, I'm not going to buck the trend and say anything different! It's fantastic! My staple mat over the last ten years has been a black super mat but I've found recently it's worn smooth so as soon as I start sweating it becomes slippery. This new mat feels more solid, sticky, lets me ground more firmly than I ever could with the black mat. In fact I can't see how this mat could be improved! Only time will tell about the longevity of the revolution mat but it feels as if it's made exceptionally well. If it falls apart in the coming months/years I'll be sure to come back and update this review.

Far and above the best mat I've ever owned or used. I would give it a full 10, but I have not owned it long enough to attest to it's longevity. It is the widest, longest and stickiest mat available. I have owed over 6 different well known brands, including the Black Manduka Mat, and this one far outshines them all. It also has a better than average thickness for kness. Superior for inversions, and although it is sticky, you can adjust your hands easily in Adho Mukha Vrksasana and Urdhva Dhanurasana to name a few. I highly recommend it and I got one for a friend as a gift. A worthy investment in any serious practitioner's life, regardless of your yoga style preference.

I felt nervous spending so much on a mat, but fancied treating myself and I'm so glad I did! This mat is gorgeous - comfy, grippy and lush. Hope it lasts 20 years like my last one did... (Ruth White bluey) I am impressed.

As a teacher I am now using this mat on a regular basis - very pleased. Good sticky surface, perfect size and thickness. Only drawback is the weight of it for transporting from class to class ! Much admired by students -would recommend.

The size is almost perfect, even longer valid. The problem is that after the carpet is difficult to keep a normal mat. Tight suitably hard mat, balance movement succeeds brilliantly. I ordered matt with the black bag, the bag leaves the color of the carpet is always a roller bag, one side is darkened, it just so I put down a carpet bag. Bag to keep appears to be washed. They are clearance. Good shopping entirety, Color is nice.

I've been using this mat for my daily sun salutations for two years now. The grip is still as good as ever and I would recommend this excellent product to anyone.
