Gary Kraftsow These two excellent DVDs contain a wealth of useful and beneficial information for all yoga therapists, and also for yoga practitioners with all but the most serious of joint problems. Gary Kraftsow gives basic information about joints and joint disorders, (including the importance of prior consultation with medical advisers for more serious conditions) and then demonstrates the Viniyoga (Desikachar) approach to yoga therapy. Each DVD contains two 30-minute therapy practices and a third practice for maintenance or longer-term use. Each posture used is analysed and demonstrated in detail in a section that can be consulted if necessary during the given practices. The models used are reassuringly normal looking - no pretzels - and the practices are clearly described and accessible for most people The DVDs are very well produced and easy to navigate. They include MP3 audio versions of the practices which make them easy to do without a DVD player, for example away

I found this to be an excellent set of DVDs. I have suffered for many years with lower back pain and neck stiffness which was really debilitating on my energy. I have been doing these DVDs for a while, about 6 months but very infrequently maybe 1-2 times a week and pain, stiffness and lack of vitality has practically gone. I would highly recommend these DVDs just as a normal practice, they are very easy to follow, understand and are not complicated in any way.
