This is what we're doing to minimise and reverse our contribution to climate change:
We will stop using air freight for of deliveries of stock to Yogamatters. If that means products will take longer to reach us we will order them earlier. This will not affect our fast service to you!
If we have to fly to meetings we will offset the carbon emissions. In fact, all the carbon emissions of our business are offset.
We aim to use as little energy as possible in our offices and warehouses. We use Green Energy .
We never throw away a sheet of paper if it is blank on one side (but we shred it if it has anything confidential written on it!).
Actually we never throw away a sheet of paper at all - we recycle as much of our waste as possible including all paper and cardboard.
If you have placed orders with us you'll see that we re-use as much packaging as possible. Yes, that means it might say Amazon not Yogamatters on the outside. Our branding people don't like it, but we do.
We recycle as much of our waste as possible. We don't shrink wrap our products (apart from sticky mats which we cannot avoid shrink wrapping at the moment). And if you like plastic bags, please bring your own.
Get on your bike! Anyone who cycles to our London yoga shop gets an extra 5% discount when they visit us.
