BKS Iyengar 90th Birthday Calendar - 2008

Produced by the Iyengar Yoga Association (UK) this calendar celebrates BKS Iyengar's 90th birthday through 2008. The A3 calendar has 12 wonderfully atmospheric archive black and white photographs taken by Silvia Prescott of Guruji practising in the institute in Pune, plus a portrait taken this year by Jake Clennell. This is the first time that these photographs have been publicly available.Proceeds from the sale of this calendar will be donated to The Bellur Trust, a charity founded by the Iyengar family to improve the lives of the villagers of Mr Iyengar's birth place.
